Shipping & Receiving Team Member
As a team member of Shipping & Receiving, your job is to assist in the receiving of raw materials and other goods and in the shipment of finished products. This is a fast-paced environment requiring minimal supervision. You must have the ability to lift 60 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Receive all incoming product and material
- Inform purchasing of discrepancies with paperwork
- Package and ship daily orders
- Maintain and organize warehouse area
- Enter receivers into the ERP system
Skills and attributes required:
- Experience with domestic and international shipments using FedEx, DHL, and UPS software
- Experience shipping dangerous goods & shipping with dry ice
- Communicating with manufacturing departments
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Excellent organization skills
- Positive contributor to company culture
Experience & Education
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) experience
- Minimum two years shipping and receiving experience
- IATA and DOT Certified
- Forklift certified preferred
- M2M software experience preferred
- Experience with freight forwarders preferred
